CD Projekt Red was going to get a bonus if they would release the game this year, but evidently that was not enough temptation for them. XCOM 2 (Legacy missions, 25 hours 2 playthroughs, 70 hours) If I do not but I enjoy the games that I do play, that's fine too.ħ Billion Humans (25 hours total, of which 3 hours in 2019)īaldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal (Currently at 25 hours in 2019, not finished yet) I will make a list this year, but like last year, I am not going to feel bound by it. On my first attempt I did not really like it, but I have a feeling that if I really get into it I will like it a lot. But since I did not buy it yet, it is on my list of alternates. Wasteland 3: Wasteland 2 was one of my favorite games in recent years, and I am looking forward to playing the third installment. Subnautica: Below Zero ( finished, 30 hours). That gets really annoying when the puzzles get longer.Įastshade: This should be a relaxing experience. Time needed increases quadratically with number of steps needed. The puzzles have almost no inventiveness, and have the irritating feature that if you make a mistake you have to restart. EDIT: I am now halfway through it, and it isn't very good. I have no idea if it is any good, but I like the concept at least. The Pedestrian: I need a puzzle game on my list and this one I acquired last year. Path of Exile ( finished, over 500 hours in 2021). Hopefully this year my mood will improve enough to play this game. The Outer Worlds: I started on this game in 2020 and liked it, but the whole COVID situation took so much of my energy that I could not really get into it. I am not 100% sure that I will like it as well, but I am definitely going to give it a shot. Hades: I heard many good things about this game, and my daughter loved it.

I still think this game is my cup of tea, but I have to completely restart it and play it with the attitude: save early, save often. That was so demoralizing that I gave up on it. But I guess they will get the bugs out in 2021, and then I can finally get into it.ĭisco Elysium: I started on this game in 2020, and then I ran into a situation where I died unexpectedly and my last save was from 2 hours ago. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands ( finished, 80 hours)Īfter last year's failure of finishing only a single game from my hardcore list, I would have been wise to make it easy on myself this year, but where is the challenge in that?īorderlands 3: ( finished, 300 hours in 2021).Ĭyberpunk 2077: I have been looking forward to this game for years, and now it is finally here it is too buggy to play. Shadow of the Tomb Raider ( abandoned, 40 hours). Horizon Zero Dawn ( abandoned, 50 hours). XCOM 2 ( finished, 2 playthroughs, 100 hours). Wasteland 3: I like Wasteland 2 very much, so I am probably going to like this one as well. Psychonauts 2: I have to play this, or hand in my avatar. Orcs Must Die! 3 ( finished, 15 hours in 2022).

The Outer Worlds: I played a bit of this half a year ago and liked it a lot. I just need to bring myself to start it up.Ī Good Snowman Is Hard To Build ( finished, 3.5 hours). But I will give it the old college try.Ĭyberpunk 2077: Maybe I will attempt to play it this year?ĭisco Elysium: I think I will like it.

Like the last few years, I have no confidence that I will make my hardcore list this year.
